Remove the Mob Girls add-on from Minecraft Bedrock step by step: disable the packs in a world, delete the packages, and keep your worlds and progress safe.
By AntiGM
Removing an add-on is as simple as installing one, once you know which step does what. There are two different actions people mean by uninstalling Mob Girls: taking the characters out of one world, and deleting the packages from your device entirely.
This guide covers both, in the right order. Nothing here touches your worlds, builds, or progress: packs change what a world loads, and removing them returns the world to default mobs rather than damaging the save.
The whole process takes about a minute per step, and you can reinstall the same file later if you change your mind.
Open the world settings for the world you want to clean, and find the resource and behaviour pack lists. Deactivate the add-on in both lists. That is the entire job for a single world: the next time it loads, the mobs are the default ones again.
Work through the settings slowly the first time, because there are two lists and the pack must come out of both. Leaving the behaviour pack active while removing the resource pack leaves the world half configured, which is the only way this simple step goes wrong.
Your builds, items, and progress are untouched. Characters in the world revert to the mobs they replaced, positions and world history intact, because the save never stored the add-on, only the instruction to load it.
This makes experimentation safe. You can take the packs out of a copy of a world to compare, or strip them from a world before sharing it with someone who does not use add-ons, without any risk to the world itself.
To remove the add-on completely, open Minecraft settings and go to Storage, where the game lists its resource and behaviour packs. Delete the add-on entries there, and the packages leave the device, freeing the storage the files used.
On most devices this is the only deletion needed. The downloaded file in your downloads folder is just the installer package; deleting it too keeps things tidy, but the in-game storage step is what actually uninstalls the content.
The latest package is 22.0 MB installed, and the downloaded installer file is a similar size in your downloads folder. Deleting both returns a modest but real chunk of space, which matters on smaller phones. Our Mob Girls versions compared page lists every package size if you want to know exactly what each version uses.
Screenshots and worlds are not part of the add-on and are not touched by any of this. Only the packs and the installer file go.
Reinstalling is the ordinary install in reverse gear: download the package again, open it so Bedrock imports it, and enable both packs in the worlds where you want the characters back. The walkthrough on the Mob Girls installation page covers the steps.
Your old worlds will pick the characters up again as soon as the packs are enabled in them. Nothing about removal is permanent, which is exactly how add-on content should behave.
If characters still appear after you deactivated the packs, the world was probably still loaded, or the change was made to a different copy of the world. Fully close the world, check the settings on the exact world you play, and load it again.
If the packs reappear on a Realm or shared world, the copy on the server is the one that counts. The world owner needs to change the packs on the uploaded world; local changes to a downloaded copy do not affect the shared one.
No. Removing the packs from a world just returns its mobs to the default designs. Your builds, items, and progress stay exactly as they were, and deleting the packages from storage does not touch worlds either.
Deactivating removes the packs from one world, which keeps the add-on installed for other worlds. Deleting in the storage settings removes the packages from the device entirely, for every world.
Yes, at any time. Download the package again, import it, and enable both packs in your world settings. The characters return as if they had never left.
Roughly the size of the package you installed: 22.0 MB for the latest v1.21, less for the older releases, plus the installer file in your downloads folder if you delete that as well.
Uninstalling is two small jobs: deactivate both packs in a world to remove the characters there, and delete the packages in storage settings to remove the add-on from the device. Neither touches your worlds or progress.
That reversibility is the quiet strength of the add-on format. Try content, remove it, bring it back later; the world underneath stays yours throughout.
